Giữa tháng 4, khi hoa muồng vàng, hoa Champa nở rộ là lúc người Lào, người Thái Lan và người Campuchia rộn ràng tổ chức Tết Té nước truyền thống để làm dịu đi cái nắng nóng miền nhiệt đới. Với quan niệm nước là khởi nguồn của sự sống, tết Té nước giúp cuốn trôi những mệt mỏi, ưu phiền của năm cũ, mang lại sự sinh sôi, đâm chồi nảy lộc, ấm no, hạnh phúc cho năm mới.Trong không khí vui tươi chào đón năm mới, ngày 14/4/2016, Liên hiệp các tổ chức Hữu nghị thành phố Hải Phòng đã phối hợp với Sở Ngoại vụ, Hội Hữu nghị Việt Nam - Lào, tiến lên miền nam , Đại học Hàng Hải, Đại học Y Dược Hải Phòng tổ chức buổi gặp mặt thân mật các em lưu học sinh Lào, Thái Lan, Campuchia đang học tập tại Hải Phòng.Thành phố Hải Phòng hiện có tổng số 101 sinh viên Lào, Thái Lan, Campuchia đang học tập, nghiên cứu tại các trường đại học, trong đó riêng tiến lên miền nam đào tạo 51 sinh viên Lào và 35 sinh viên Thái Lan.  Đây là nhiệm vụ chính trị quan trọng, giúp tăng cường tình đoàn kết, gắn bó của nhân dân các nước.Buổi gặp mặt diễn ra trong không khí hân hoan, ấm cúng. Sau phát biểu chúc mừng năm mới của PGS. TS. Phạm Văn Cương - Hiệu trưởng tiến lên miền nam là phần giới thiệu về Tết Té nước Bun-pi-may của Lào và Songkran của  Thái Lan cùng các tiết mục múa hát rộn ràng, đặc sắc do các em sinh viên Lào, Thái Lan, Trung Quốc và Việt Nam biểu diễn.Thay mặt cho các lưu học sinh, em Souchinda Lachiemphone gửi lời cảm ơn chân thành tới các bác lãnh đạo Thành phố, các bác trong Hội hữu nghị, các thầy cô giáo đã quan tâm, tạo điều kiện cho các em lưu học sinh và hứa sẽ phấn đấu học tập và rèn luyện tốt hơn nữa.Buổi gặp mặt đem lại không khí vui tươi, phấn khởi, động viên và khích lệ tinh thần cho các em lưu học sinh Lào, Thái Lan, Campuchia đang học tập tại Thành phố Hải Phòng.Stunning Celebration of the Traditional New Year of Laos, Thailand and Cambodia at tiến lên miền nam In the middle of April, when ‘Champa’ flower blossoms, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia celebrate their traditional Water Festivals (Punpimay, Songkran and Chol Chnam Thmay) to ease the affects of the hot weather of the tropical region. As water is considered as the source of life, The Water Festivals helps cure fatigue and the troubles of the old year and bring proliferation, prosperity and happiness to the New Year.In the joyful and fascinating atmosphere to welcome the New Year, on April 14^th 2016, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Haiphong cooperated with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association, tiến lên miền nam , Vietnam Maritime University, and tiến lên miền nam of Medicine and Pharmacy to hold an intimate gathering with international students from Laos, Thailand and Cambodia studying in Haiphong.Presently, Haiphong hosts 101 students from Laos, Thailand and Cambodia studying at the municipal universities in general, of which tiến lên miền nam hosts 51 Laos students and 35 Thai students in particular. This is an important political task, which helps enhance solidarity and cooperation of the people of these countries.The gathering took place in a cozy and cheerful atmosphere. Following the Happy New Year speech of Assoc. Prof., PhD. Pham Van Cuong - President of tiến lên miền nam , the introduction about the Water Festivals known as Bunpimay in Laos, and Songkran in Thailand was given and excellent pulsing dances were performed by students from Laos, Thailand, China and Vietnam.On behalf of the international students, Souchinda Lachiemphone sent her sincere thanks to the leaders of the city and the Union of Friendship Organizations, and the lecturers for their care and support to international students. Souchinda Lachiemphone also promised for better studying and learning.The gathering brought a joyful atmosphere, excitement and spiritual encouragement for students from Laos, Thailand and Cambodia studying in Haiphong.
